MasterCard ®

MasterCard has been in existence since 1979, when it was rebranded from Master Charge, and is based out of New York State. As one of the largest financial services companies, MasterCard has numerous credit card offers, including for individuals with varying credit scores, as well as for businesses and balance transfers.

MasterCard ® Credit Cards

The MasterCard ® brand is ubiquitous: MasterCard ® is accepted in more than 200 countries. Next to it's rival Visa, MasterCard ® accounts for a majority of credit card transactions. MasterCard ® itself is a franchiser of their brand, and does not issue credit cards directly to consumers. Rather, it allows banks and companies to structure their own deals, setting APRs, annual fees and other features. Due to this, you may notice that MasterCard ® cards vary in their features, offering different interest rates, and perhaps even different APRs for cash advances, purchases or balance transfers.
